BLIS Cross Country Event 2025: A Celebration of Sport, Spirit, and Community

On April 3rd, 2025, the BLIS Cross Country Event returned with more excitement and energy than ever before. With a record number of participants, the event brought together children from four schools — Academia, ELA, BKA, and BLIS as the proud hosts — for a day filled with joy, determination, and unforgettable memories.

The sun was shining, the skies were clear, and the warm spring weather added to the vibrant atmosphere. Students from Grades 2 to 6 gave their all on the course, cheered on by friends, families, and staff. With plenty of water available at the finish line, participants were able to stay hydrated and refreshed throughout the day.

The event was not just about racing — it was about community. Laughter echoed across the fields, friendships were strengthened, and children encouraged one another with true sportsmanship. A wonderful atmosphere at the grilling area offered the perfect spot for participants to relax and cheer their friends before and after their run.

Every child who crossed the finish line received a medal, a well-earned symbol of their effort and perseverance. Their proud smiles captured the spirit of the day — one of accomplishment, courage, and fun.
